Dom - safe with mountain guide
Dome and East Ridge-Allalinhorn. The Valais - in the Mattertal and Saastal valleys. The ideal combination of two wonderful alpine tours in the Swiss mountains in the very south. The Allalinhorn is one of the easier 4000m peaks, the Hohlaubgrat playfully offers everything a high mountain needs: over a firn ridge and easy rock passages you climb elegantly and sportily to the summit of the well-known mountain. The ice training and the new via ferrata above the Britannia hut on the first day provide safety and are important for acclimatisation, so that you will be fit on the Dom! The Dom (4545 m) is certainly the absolute highlight of this mountain adventure - in good conditions via the Festigrat and otherwise via the normal route. Real, pure mountaineering without cable cars awaits you on the Dom. Through summery alpine meadows, sunny larch forests and with the Europahütte as a stopover to refuel, the route climbs steeply up to the renovated Dom Hut. All the climatic zones of the Alps - up to snow-white glacier slopes and a unique lookout peak!
