The Swiss Mont Blanc area is a quiet remote area in the Valais where you can still find your real mountain experience, yet enjoyment and time to marvel.

From the mountain village of Champex, we climb up to the golden granite needles of the Swiss Mont Blanc region on the east side of the Glacier d'Argentière and continue over the mighty plateau of the Glacier du Trient to the Glacier de Saleina. This stage in the first part of the Ski Haute Route "Chamonix-Zermatt" is simply too beautiful to glide past quickly. On the way, we climb the Aiguille du Tour, Mont Blanc is just opposite.

If you are looking for a real mountain experience in wild and romantic nature and enjoy beautiful glacier descents, this is the right place for you. We spend two nights at the Cabane du Trient and another under the famous Aiguille d'Argentière at the Cabane de Saleina. The view stretches all the way to Mont Blanc and the Chamonix valley. The second summit is the Grand Lui or a beautiful saddle with a top view. The transitions between the glacier streams are steep, as is the last descent back into the Val d'Arpette. Your mountain guide always ensures safety with the rope. A delight for good skiers who enjoy high alpine tours.
