This classic Vartiante of the famous Haute Route will be fun for you. The stages are feasible for many ski touring enthusiasts and can be mastered well with good basic condition. The scenery changes constantly and begins with the sky-high granite needles and north walls in the valley of Chamonix. The abseil ride on the Col du Chardonnet or the steep ascent to the Col du Paso will really get us going on the second day. The stages from Verbier to Cabane des Dix towards Oberwallis are relaxed. Enjoy the sunny hut terrace of the "Dix" with cold drinks before you swing past the Matterhorn over the gigantic glacier areas of the Valais Alps down to spring green Zermatt.
