Weisshorn - Sky Pyramid in Valais
Besides the Matterhorn in the same valley, is the Weisshorn perhaps even more perfect than mountain? The pyramid shape, white ridges and wild glaciers make it one of the most beautiful mountain shapes in the Alps. A long ascent leads from the fragrant wild herb meadows in Randa up to the Weisshorn hut. Varied, steep and exposed is the wonderful climb to the summit and back again. A great summer adventure if you already have some mountaineering experience and are looking forward to a unique experience.

Rental equipment
1st day: Individual arrival in Randa. Meeting point at 10:00 a.m. at the station, material check, 1600 hm ascent, approx. 5 h to the Weisshorn hut 2932 m.
2nd day: Summit tour to the Weisshorn (4505 m) via the east ridge. In total we are on the way for 10 - 12 h until we arrive back at the hut. Descent in the late afternoon or again overnight at the hut.
