After a stopover in the old town of Oslo, you can reach Tromsø, the "Paris of the North". Here you are far above the Arctic Circle, in the evening sky the first auroras shine and the vibrant city trumps with historical charm. The next morning there is a first tour with snowshoes and in the evening take the Hurtigruten line by sea to Lofoten to Svolvaer.

From Svoalvaer you can enjoy a day of leisurely snowshoe tours, enjoy the local cuisine with rich fish dishes on your tongue and marvel at the wild flickering of the Arctic lights in the evening. In addition to snowshoe tours, the area around the Austnesfjord also has a lot of cultural interest to offer... Since the end of the last ice age, people have been settling here to fish and live with the sea. Trips to Hennigswaer, the centre of cod fishing or a visit to an old fishing station at Hopefjord allow deeper insights into the lives of the population here.
