This ski touring course is something special. We combine this informative ski touring course with the fascination for the sport and the hobby. We always make sure that the area is snow-sure and are there for you in all conceivable situations. This course has been specially designed for beginners. We want to specifically address participants who are venturing out on a ski tour for the first time. But also hobby sportsmen are welcome. You need a basic level of fitness for the ascents and descents. By comparison, a slightly athletic person can cope perfectly well with the conditions. The four-day ski touring course St. Antönien starts at the Hotel Madrisajoch. On the first evening we meet at the hotel.

The training starts in the seminar room and is extended with practical knowledge. On the actual tour on the day, you will learn how to use skins and touring skis and become familiar with ascent techniques and skiing technique in deep snow. The appropriate avalanche transceiver (probe and shovel) will be provided by us. The device is used in snow and avalanche awareness. Alternatively, we offer the courses "Avalanche course Switzerland" and "Deep snow course basic of powder". These courses are an extension to the ski touring course and specifically address special conditions. At the end of the course you will be familiar with the most important basic techniques and know how to move in deep snow. In addition, you will be able to operate the avalanche transceiver and learn basic knowledge about avalanches. You can supplement the knowledge from snow and avalanche awareness in our special avalanche course.
