The facts

Some info...

The Val d'Anniviers wonderfully combines the two worlds of the glaciated summit regions and the Mediterranean Rhone valley - which are so close together. The modern lifts of the Grimentz, Zinal, Vercorin and Saint-Luc ski regions take you up into extensive, high alpine terrain and enable powder runs with a difference in altitude of over 1500 metres. The ideal altitude and the north-east orientation of the ski areas on the Corne de Sorebois, Bec-de-Bosson or Roc d'Orzival often guarantee the best quality snow. In combination with short ascents with the skins, many downhill altitude meters come together in one ski day. Freetouring expands the range of action enormously and you can expect a lot of still inexperienced slopes. A visit to the summit ridge of the "Becs de Bosson" and the hut of the same name should not be missed, of course. Downhill runs to the dam of the Lac de Moiry and views of the 4375 m high Dent Blanche, the Weisshorn or Zinalrothorn are as much a part of the day's programme as the descents through the challenging couloirs from the summit ridge of the Sorebois. Powder snow of the finest in the world of the 4000m peaks! In the evening you can let yourself be spoilt in Zinal in our nice and fine hotel EUROPE "Swiss Comfort Lodge". The Val d'Anniviers is also famous for its raclette specialities and fine wines.
