Day 1: Arrival and meeting point at the end of the reservoir in the Klöntal. 9:30 a.m. Meeting point at the parking lot. Then you can travel by taxi to ALP Chäseren (ascent on foot through the Rossmattertal to the ALP Chäseren on request also possible). Past Pretty little chalet there's and continue over Wärben to the Glärnischhütte (1990 m) where we spend the night. Ascent: approx. 4 h, HM: 1140
Day 2: Early in the morning, you start to climb the Vrenelisgaertli over the Glärnischgletscher and the Schwandergrat. A short, somewhat displaced spot with chains overcomes you well secured by the mountain guide. In good conditions it is still possible to climb the Ruchenglärnisch. Descend back to the hut and from ALP Chäseren by taxi to the Klöntalersee. Journey home from approx. 17:00 pm. Ascent: Approx. 4 – 5 H, descent: 5

Our refreshing summer tour on a nearby glacier mountain: already from the Zürisee you can notice the Shining Silhoutte of the Glärnisch with the summit of the Vrenelisgaertli (2904 m). The altitude differences from the valley up to the peaks are enormous. At the starting point of the tour the turquoise Green, klasklare Water of the Klöntaler Lake invites you to bathe and at the ALP Chäseren there are cool drinks (up to here also possible by taxi). Over steep, stony alpine pastures it goes up to the pretty Glärnischhütte. Climbing rocks for the afternoon are right at the hut. Or relax on the sunny terrace with coffee and cakes. Early in the morning you will climb over limestone rocks and on the ice of the Glärnischfirns to the Schwandergrat and reach the highest point. Don't miss this summer tour!
