Due to the geographical location far to the east, you will benefit from the time difference especially on your return flight.
The arrival will take place on Saturday with a flight from Zurich to Moscow and on to Irkutsk:
Saturday: In the afternoon (about 13:00) flight to Moscow and night flight on to Irkutsk.
SundayArrival in the morning (about 8:00 a.m.) in Irkutsk, transfer to the village Vydrino, access to Mountain Lodge
Monday - Friday5 days guided ski tours/splitboarding from the Mountain Lodge.
SaturdayOne last day with a short ski tour and departure in the afternoon to Irkutsk, on the way you will visit Lake Baikal. Overnight stay in good hotel in Irkutsk and farewell party from Siberia.
SundayReturn flight at 13:00 to Moscow and on to Zurich. Arrival in the evening in Zurich approx. 21:00 o'clock.

We start into the winter season with this new trip with "Ski tours in Siberia in the best powder snow". In Siberia there is only this one form of snow! The Khamar-Daban Mountains extend over more than 350 km south of the legendary Lake Baikal. In the southwestern part of this mountain range, the most intense precipitation falls from the sky. The sparsely populated Bolshoy-Mamay Valley, only 10 kilometres from Lake Baikal, is the perfect area for ski touring and deep snow skiing in the long Siberian winter.
The valley has a special microclimate. The winters here are warmer than in the otherwise ice-cold regions of the Baikal region. Even at the beginning of winter until well into January, even before the deep, clear Lake Baikal is covered with ice, there is the greatest amount of precipitation in the form of best powder. In November and December the most snow falls. Combined with permanently cold continental temperatures, this results in a large amount of wonderfully light powder snow. The snow quality is guaranteed: the mountains are protected from strong winds by the protected north-western position of the valley. The descents in best snow quality will inspire you! The ski touring season couldn't start better.
