The great glaciers of the Jungfrau and Aletschgebietes are made to go for a ski tour. In the most powerful place the Aletsch Glacier is still over 900 meters thick!

Requirement level: Advanced
Safe skiing in all types of snow and in the Alpine terrain. We are on the road on glaciers and you should be able to control your skis safely.
Good condition for ski touring at high altitudes for daily up to 1000 – 1100 altitude rise and corresponding downhills in unprepared snow.
The high sleep heights around the 3000 meters also burden the cardiovascular system. A slow ascent rate is a matter of course for us.
On the 3rd day you can take a rest day at the Finsteraarhornhütte.

Organisation of the entire journey
4 days guided tour Dipl. Mountain and Alpine Guides UIAGM/IFMGA
3 x accommodation + half board, tea in SAC-huts (Konkordiaplatz-and Finsteraarhorn)
Day 1: Grindelwald-Grund (meeting point in the morning 8:30) – Journey by train to the Jungfraujoch – ski tour to the Louwihorn – downhill to the Konkordiaplatz hut (2850 m);
Day 2: Ski tour to Grünegghorn (3787 m) or Wysnollen (3590 m) – Downhill to Finsteraarhorn (3048 m)
Day 3: Ski tour to the Big Horn (3905 m) – Another overnight stay on the Finsteraarhornhütte
Day 4: Galmihorn (3517 m) or Bächilücke (3382 m) – Dream downhill to the upper Valais to Reckingen. Hourly train connections back to Grindelwald or journey home from there.
