Some info...

Spend an active weekend in a beautiful high mountain landscape with this very special sunny and dry climate and take a deep breath! The view from the summit of Piz Morteratsch (3751 m) is stunningly beautiful. The Piz Roseg, the Piz Palü and the white firn edge of the Bianco ridge on the Piz Bernina (4049 m) shine in the sun. Far in the distance you can still recognize the Monte Rosa group. Unique and unforgettable! After the comfortable hut approach to the Tschierva hut we will do an introduction to the crampon techniques on the glacier. This will make you feel fit for the ascent the next day. Early in the morning you climb over easy, sun-warmed gneiss rocks up to the Tschierva glacier. Shortly before the Bovalscharte, the steep glacier slope to Piz Morteratsch begins. Feel the rhythm as you climb through the steep snow flanks and crevasses, let your gaze wander! Cool drinks and fine Rösti after returning to the sunny terrace of the Tschierva hut and enjoy the view of the mighty Piz Bernina. Immerse yourself in the lush vegetation of Val Roseg. Final credits: leisurely showdown with the horse-drawn carriage to Pontresina train station.
