2nd day: Still in the early twilight we climb the Ochstentaler glacier. Some steep slopes and flat at the end lead to the foot of the summit of Piz Buin. Over the northern flank, a short rock chimney (I - II.Grad) and the final slope we climb the most famous peak of the Silvretta. The view to the neighbouring peaks and the somewhat higher mountains of the Bernina and the Ortler massif is enormous. The descent leads us back to the glacier and into the long Ochsental valley. The last section of the trail leads idyllically past the reservoir back to the Bielerhöhe. Return in the evening. (Ascent to the summit approx. 4.5 h; total time back to Bielerhöhe 8 - 10 h).
