Easy hikes at a slow walking pace through the Masai steppe for up to 6 hours a day. The luggage is transported by pack animals.
At the summit of Mount Meru there are rock passages (T 3+/T4) that are defused with chains.

Day 1: Flight with Turkish Airlines in the afternoon from Zurich / Frankfurt / Munich via Istanbul to Arusah/JRO Kilimanjaro Airport.
Day 2: Arrival in the morning in Africa/ JRO Kilimanjaro Airport. Short transfer to Hotel Weru Weru River Lodge. Settling in and arriving in Africa. The beautiful hotel pool invites you to relax. In the afternoon you explore the coffee plantations of the surroundings by mountain bike. Sundowner, dinner, overnight stay.
Day 3: After breakfast in the morning drive to the Momella Gate in the Arusha National Park. Accompanied by a ranger you hike to the Miriakamba hut. (2500 m). Dinner, overnight stay in the MBZ Mirikamba hut.
Day 4: The trail continues up to Saddle Hut at 3550m. Overnight stay Saddle hut, MBZ.
Day 5: In the darkness you leave to experience the sunrise on Mount Meru, Arusha's local mountain. Wonderful! The steep, long ascent is rewarded with a fantastic view over to Kilimanjaro, the Masai steppe and the green highlands of East Africa. After intensive summit happiness, we hike back into the green plains. It goes back to the Momella Gate and with the car further to the hotel. Overnight stay, hotel, double room/ double room.
Day 6: Relaxed and still full of impressions of Mount Meru, we drive over to the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands. We spend the evening at the campfire together with the Masai, who take over the luggage transport in the next days. Overnight stay in luxury tents (double occupancy/field beds).
Day 7: Hike to Olmoti Crater. We roam the Olmoti Crater. (double occupancy /field beds).
Day 8: Hike to Empakaai Crater. Descent to the crater with thousands of flamingos. Night at the crater rim. (Double occupancy /field beds).
Day 9: Hike to Acaccia Camp. Here we finish our hike over the crater highlands and say goodbye to our Masai friends. Drive to the hotel near the airport in the evening.
Day 10: Return flight in the early morning (6:00 a.m.) to Zurich. Arrival in the evening. Individual journey home.
