Monte Rosa "Spaghetti Tour Light

Some info...

This easier version of the big Monte Rosa "Spaghetti Tour" leads in a colourful round tour from Zermatt to the most beautiful places and easier glacier peaks of the region. Good acclimatisation is important to us, so we start comfortably on the first day with a hike and training on the glacier from Zermatt. After the tour to the Breithorn, which may be the first 4000m peak for some, we descend into the Piedmont, into the side valleys of the Aosta Valley to Champoluc and Gressoney, where we hike on green trails and marvel at the bright white peaks of the Monte Rosa mountains. In the second part of the week, we head back up to the mighty glaciers and climb up to four times to an easier 4000-metre glacier peak, sleeping in very high altitude huts always far above 3000 metres and enjoying the delicacies of Italian cuisine with pasta, minestrone and espresso.

This dreamlike summer tour over the highest mountains of the Monte Rosa massif is certainly hard to beat!

Constantly changing views of almost all 4000-metre peaks in the Alps provide excitement and reward. In the distance we can see the lakes of Ticino and Northern Italy and the rice fields of the Po Valley. In contrast, the highest peaks of the Alps, from the Bernese Oberland to Mont Blanc, gleam brilliantly white and majestic! Certainly a highlight: the overnight stay at the Capanna Regina Margherita (4554 m) on the summit of the Signaluppe above the Monte Rosa east face...

A summer fairy tale that you should not miss! This tour is also ideal as training for Kilimanjaro!

Relax after the tour in one of our partner hotels in Zermatt to round off this great tour with pleasure. We will be happy to advise you!
